About
Zeynep Arda has a Ph.D. in Communication, received with honors (cum laude) in November, 2011 at Universidad Jaume I, Castellón, Spain. Her research involves a possible evaluation of the new tendencies that come up in virtual online communities, such as online social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or Youtube and online multi-player games with a substantial number of subscribers, like Second Life and World of Warcraft, as well as the tendencies that the actual phenomenological world currently shows in terms of human identity and how it is communicated.
A parallel objective is to identify the "dis-ease" of the human condition, following the trends from urban paranoia in the earlier industrial cities to schizophrenia of cyberspace and the narcissism of the social networks.
